This is proving to be tricky... just in terms of understanding how both manual and automatic laps should be included in TCX at the same time. It seems TCX was not designed to do that - at least not the way the V800 records those laps.

I've asked on the Garmin forums, as well as the Polar forum... ❓

Note, for now (0.2.x release), will prioritise manual laps over automatic laps if/when both are present.

0.3.x will allow the user to choose which to prefer and/or write separate files for each lap type.

Note, when laps are present, Lap/Calories will be absent, because the protobuf data does not include calories per lap. However, all other per-lap TCX elements (duration, distance, speed, HR) will still be available as long the relevant sensor(s) were active.
