It would be desirable to set up a reasonable performance testing environment, one that can be used to identify performance improvements (or regressions) over time, or to compare pedestal-jetty against alternative (for instance, if we attempt to create an adapter for Netty).

As a first guess, I would imagine a pair of EC2 instances: one to host, and one to drive traffic, and some tools to setup these instances, load code onto them, execute tests, and extract results.
