paintmoji-base

This is a base for an example of a realtime collaborative app based on ShareDB and Operational Transformation to be used on a workshop of a computer supported collaborative systems class.

The full/finished working app is available at @pedrosanta/paintmoji for reference.

This base app is built upon:

• Express.js (Node.js backend/server)
• Static frontend in 'vanilla'/plain JavaScript (served from backend server) using:
  • Web Components/Custom Elements
  • Custom Events
  • JavaScript Modules

Setup

1. Install Node.js.
2. Run npm install.

Usage

1. Run npm start.
2. Open http://localhost:3000 on your browser.
