Winamp Driver for Karaoke Manager

A Winamp driver for Karaoke Manager.

It relies on some Winamp plugins being installed.

• For CDG visuals, you need to have a suitable CDG plugin installed. I heartily recommend this one, though others are available.
• For key changes, you need to have the Pacemaker plugin installed.

To use

• Install the package with pip install karaokemanagerwinampdriver
• Edit your Karaoke Manager .yaml file, and set driver class to karaokemanagerwinampdriver.winamp_driver.Driver
• In the driver-specific section, you can add an exe string, set to the full path for winamp.exe. If you do this, Winamp will be launched when Karaoke Manager starts.

Other handy plugins

If you're using Winamp with Karaoke Manager, there are some other plugins that might be of interest to you. They have been written to work with the data files that Karaoke Manager writes out.

• SingersQueue can read the text file containing the list of singers, and show it onscreen.
• AutoDJ will play the list of background music in random order, and will pick up any song requests that are made via Karaoke Manager (with the cue command).
