I'm using this toolchain: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_prebuilt/tree/ics/linux-x86/toolchain/arm-eabi-4.4.3
Is the Codesourcery toolchain a better choice?
I'm just curious.

For this source and these 10.1 tabs, any other toolchain causes instability with the produced output.

Interesting. Propably the same with the 8.9 then since they are almost identical. I'll give the Codesourcery toolchain a try.
I have had some strange reboots followed by bootloops in the past, perhaps it's related to this instability.

Odd... I haven't had any stability problems using the eabi 4.4.3 toolchain referenced above.
Maybe I've just been lucky, in which case, that would be a blocker for moving to the new inline kernel build system.

Only prebuilts for now. I've validated this last year as well as done a revalidation in the past week as well.
