I've been flying the F-14 lately and usually have my tablets in a horizontal orientation.
With this orientation both the Displays and Lights panels take up less than 50% of the display.
Having them combine when the device orientation is horizontal would be nice to have.

F-14 Displays Current
F-14 Lights Current
