Veliero is an Arduino IDE compaitble microcontroller programable via the ICSP connector. An AVR programmer such as the USBtinyISP or AVRISP II is required to program the Veliero. Since there is no need for a bootloader, the maximum amount of space is available for uploading code. The name is taken from the resemblence the PCB traces bear to a sailing ship, the Italian phrase for which is 'veliero.'
