Recording software interfacing
Areas along the probes in the trajectory explorer can be sent for display to Open Ephys and SpikeGLX.
To set or change which recording slots each probe is plugged into, select Probe controls > Probe properties and set "Recording slot" for each probe
To connect with either of these programs, select Connect > Recording > OpenEphys/SpikeGLX
Spike GLX NOTE: the command server enabled, which is turned on in the SpikeGLX console through Options > Command Server Settings, as shown here:
The recording software will then display the areas from the trajectory explorer whenever they are updated.
In Open Ephys, this is through the Probe Viewer (yellow box/arrow):
In SpikeGLX, this is through the Shank Viewer (yellow arrow, red arrow/box), and the raw data traces are colored by area (blue arrows):
(NOTE - SpikeGLX must be acquiring to display the Graphs window and ShankViewer)
