Welcome to the Dell Wyse 5070 home server wiki!
TL;DR: I build my own home server running Unraid on an old Dell thin client with a Quad Core 1.5GHz processor, 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB internal SSD for a total of around 300 Euro (December 2023) and an hours work. To learn how, click here.
Long version: I have recently converted a used Dell Wyse 5070 thin client into a private home server using Unraid. I'm sharing my experiences here in case they are usefull for others doing similar projects. Here you'll find a summarized step by step guide on how I personally did it based on various bits and pieces of information I found on the web.
