Publish images on Github as alternative to Docker Hub

It's possible to publish Docker images through Github, too: https://github.com/pgRouting/docker-pgrouting/packages?package_type=Docker

This could be an alternative to Docker Hub and doing this in an automated way should not cause much extra effort.

Thanks for sharing the information. I must admit that I also visited those billing pages after creating this issue, and the limits for the free publishing seem to be rather low. I'm not sure how much pgRouting would require, but 500MB storage and 1GB data transfer is not much.

So I would suggest to not spend time with it. Maybe someday the quota will increase to a reasonable amount for Open Source projects like pgRouting.

Seems like Docker Hub is also working on limits, but so far the rate limits are for pulling images only: https://www.docker.com/blog/docker-hub-image-retention-policy-delayed-and-subscription-updates/

I've seen this information this week and you are right. It's only affecting image pull rates.
