photos mount point changed, rescan does not work #150

I had to change my mount point from /photos to /bouni/photos.
When I trigger a rescan it runs and finally says all files scanned but I get broken thumbnails for all my photos.

I guess there should be a way to drop deleted/moved elements from the db an add the new ones, right?
To me it is strange that I don't see the photos from the rescan.
Dublicate photos where one is broken and one is fine would absolutely make sense, but do not see even a single working picture!?

Edit:
photoview runs as docker container using docker-compose

I changed

volumes:
  - /storage/pictures:/photos:ro

to

volumes:
  - /storage/pictures:/bouni/photos:ro

I found the problem, when I changed the path, I also changed the DNS subdomain entry from photoview. to photos. but did nont change the PUBLIC_ENDPOINT env var.

Fixing that It seems everything works now as expected.

Did you remember to update the new root path on the Settings page, to point to /bouni/photos?

Yes, I did!

Meanwhile I deleted all entries from the database tables media, media_url, media_exif and album and started a rescan.
I see in the logs (docker-compose logs -f photoview) that it indexed all the files but again I just get 404s for all the pictures.

Okay, can you attach the logs. Does it log errors when the images are requested?

If I docker exec -it photoview sh and do a ls -la on the picture from the last screenshot, its clearly there:

(folder name pixeled for privacy reasons 😉 )

Hmm, what if you rightclick on the broken image in the sidebar and select view image. What does it show, and does it then print something in the logs?
