With current QA_4_8 and master, when I go to the Events tab and click the toggle to enable or disable the event scheduler status, nothing happens.

I expect the status to change, and the variable shown with show variables where VARIABLE_NAME = 'event_scheduler'; to change, but it doesn't work.
