The upcoming docker 1.13 release will include mainline support for docker stack which can read in docker bundles (new multi-container file format) or docker-compose files. From what I've gathered this requires docker-compose files be in the latest docker-compose schema v3 : https://github.com/docker/compose/blob/master/compose/config/config_schema_v3.0.json
