Understanding the menu bar

UAC Plugin menu bar

From left to right, the menu items are as follows:

  • "X" Hides and shows the menu bar
  • "-" Zooms out the display (not super accurate)
  • "NNN =" The current distance (zoom level) from the topleft of the screen to the bottom right in nautical miles
  • "+" Zooms in the display (not super accurate)

"FILTER ON" Disables or enables the filters from the plugin (EuroScope filters are not taken into account, only plugin filters work)

The next four buttons go as follows:

  1. Hard Filter below: traffics will be completely hidden below that flight level, unless they are being transferred to you, intruding your airspace or assumed
  2. Soft Filter below: traffics will be shown in the mini tag below that flight level, unless they are being transferred to you, intruding your airspace or assumed
  3. Soft Filter above: traffics will be shown in the mini tag above that flight level, unless they are being transferred to you, intruding your airspace or assumed
  4. Hard Filter above: traffics will be completely hidden above that flight level, unless they are being transferred to you, intruding your airspace or assumed
  • "MTCD" Hides or shows the MTCD window

  • "VAR FIM" Stands for "Variable Flight Information Window", hides or shows the VAR FIM Window

  • "QDM" Allows you to place a QDM anywhere on screen, click the button, then click two points on the screen to add a QDM, click the text of the drawn QDM to remove it

  • "T" Enables top down mode, which changes the tags to the approach tags for easier approach control. This also bypassess the filter settings for hard filters regarding assumed tags, meaning assumed tags will be hidden if above/below the hard filters

  • "A" Displays the mode A code of every target visible

  • "V" Displays the last line of the tag of every visibible target, which shows the ground speed and the vertical speed

  • "PR" Hides or displays primary (standby) radar targets

  • "VFR" Hides or displays VFR radar targets, bypasses the level filters

  • "VEL OTH" Hides or displays the speed vector for targets which you do not assume or will assume

The next four buttons selects the length of the speed vector, from 1 to 8 minutes

  • "DOTS" shows or hides the history trails of targets
