This PR replaces #19 which wrongly associated CCS with Carbon Management|Carbon Capture, not Carbon Management|Storage. To enable comparison, I preferred a new PR instead of changing the old one.

  • I ran some scripts that identifier things already specified in NAVIGATE, but not in AR6, and added them
  • the NGFS people criticized that Carbon Sequestration|CCS|Biomass|... variables evolve completely in the negative territory, which is probably a sign problem. I think it should be fixed with this

I added 2 comments. Jess can you have a look at the second one?

I think it would be nice to use the variables from the "Carbon Management" family here too to avoid confusion. var. 15 is identical to var. 14 as we have no CCS from Biomass in Industry Process emissions (yet).
i.e.:

15 Carbon Sequestration|CCS|Biomass|Energy -----
Carbon Management|Storage|+|Biomass|Pe2Se
Carbon Management|Storage|Industry Energy|+|Biomass

all right, fixed that

Industry Process emissions from fossils should also be included, right? Jess can you comment on that?
i.e. add a line with

Carbon Management|Storage|+|Industry Process

REMIND Carbon Management|Storage|+|Industry Process is mapped to AR6 Carbon Sequestration|CCS|Industrial Processes. You suggest to also add it to AR6 Carbon Sequestration|CCS|Fossil?

In the NAVIGATE template, it is not added to Carbon Capture|Storage|Fossil, therefore, I didn't do it.

No, the definition says "from fossil fuel use", so I would not add process emissions here
