It took awhile for me to figure out that the ini files used by and pointed at by Vortex for Fallout 4 with this wrapper were not the ini files used by Steam when the game was launched post-deployment. It may be a good idea to either instruct the user in the setup readme to manually add [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=
To Fallout4custom.ini (Creating the file if it doesn't exist) at /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/377160/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/Fallout4/ (Assuming that 377160 is a game id that doesn't change) or to add such a function to the script.
This is a wonderful set of tools, thank you so much for creating it! This is my first.. anything posted to Github haha.
