When adding a pimcore_block with a default of 1, clicking the "remove"-button will result in a reload, ultimately doing nothing. That is, Pimcore will correctly add the default block item again, but the editables within will still contain the prev. selected values.
For many users, this is unexpected behaviour, as they usually just want to see he block item without any content set. Would be nice if the editables were cleared.
Alternatively, add a "truncate"-button to clear the editables within block instead of removing the entry.
