Wezterm allows clicking on links to then invoke xdg-open to open the URL in question. Interactive khal disables this functionality. Additionally, normal mouse based copy and paste don't work. Would it be possible to add these features or, alternatively, add a flag to disable mouse support so that ikhal doesn't get in the way of normal mouse semantics?

We probably would need to set handle_mouse=Falsewhen starting urwid's MainLoop. If anybody is interested in turning this into an argument when starting ikhal, please send a PR.
It is, indeed. I was able to confirm from a git checkout of the latest code, which differs from the Arch package and khal-git from AUR. Thank you for letting me know about this.
