What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a profile for OSX 10.9.4

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect a .vtypes file output

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.3.1

Please provide any additional information below.

I was running through the steps for creating a profile for osx 10.9.4 but the 
process fails at step 3.

This has been fixed in Volatility 2.4. I have a working profile attached to the 
issue here:
