on release todo:

  • move notebook-clj to gorilla-notebook.
  • docker images working
  • move notebook unit tests (insofar as they are not already moved)
  • move replikativ to goldly demo.
  • pinkie evals -> completely in nrepl-middleware,
  • keep clj kondo exceptions rules

get existing features back:

  • parinfer
  • self hosted clojurescript
  • java compile servlet mode ??
  • legacy gorilla compatibility
  • tailwind build ->webly.
  • embedded mode (is in notebook)

gradual refactorings

  • view mode (codemirror cannot get active, no nrepl autoconnect).
  • on save -> update global index (could fail, so needs to be safe)
  • paredit
  • relay on undertow (frontend watch incl nrepl relay)
  • shadow compile: transient deps are only added when using build-tools .cli

AOT compilation in notebook-cli: "lein compile" works - but artefact bigger than 20 mb.

https://github.com/pedestal/pedestal
pedestral might be a sensible server-side framework to be added to webly.

Priorities:

  • sniffer mode. the UI of vs-code or emacs are great. but they suck at visualization. just have a web based output renderer.
  • notebook viewer hosted.
