TST less responsive after 0.11.2010120101

I'm sorry in advance for the vagueness of this bug report, but around/after ~0.11.2010120101 (where the new HTML5 drag and drop methods were implemented I think?), TST just doesn't feel as responsive any more, when opening and closing tabs (particularly closing) and also is very slow when resizing the sidebar. I use TST in left hand sidebar mode, skin=mixed, animations = off.

I'm using latest nightly - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20110106 Firefox/4.0b9pre ID:20110106030349 and the current latest TST 0.11.2010120903. Hardware acceleration in Firefox is off.

Can you think of anything that might be causing this?

I couldn't reproduce this problem. Could you paste modified prefs of TST (extensions.treestyletab.* with "user set" state) from about:config?

I've since reset a lot of my settings for TST (due to trying to narrow down the full-screen hidden tab bar issue), so they are no longer all at their previous settings.

However, as soon as I get a chance, I'll try with a clean profile and also see if I can find a more precise regression window using the xpis here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5890/versions/

After purging the settings and also using nightlies since, this seems to have improved significantly. Will close for now and if it reoccurs, try to open with more info.

ed2010, have you seen this problem since, or have a better understanding of why it occurred?

When the new tab dragging animations were added, using TST with Firefox wasn't optimal, causing me to disable it. The subsequent speedup, both in UI responsiveness and reduced memory bloat, meant that I decided not to return to TST even after the tab animations were removed. As such, I don't know if this issue still occurs, since at least for now, I'm not using TST. Thanks anyway for TST for the many months prior to that, it was one of my favourite addons :-)
