The ability to write hexadecimal numbers on the numpad has finally returned (#1)! Use Shift or Ctrl + Alt to access the functionality:

In addition to that, the Czech characters ů and Ů can now be written much more easily.
The previous compose sequences allowing one to write those characters were Compose > * > u or Compose > 0 > u. Even when using the * key in the number row it was a bit of a stretch exercise.
Using the combination for writing other letters with rings for inspiration, an alternative has been introduced: Compose > o > u (or Compose > o > U for the uppercase letter).
