This repository contains data and data analysis tools for the article Experimental investigation on the influence of oven drying on volcanic ash derived soils geotecthnical properties.

Data analysis was performed using Google Colab (Google's implementation of Jupyter notebooks). Although the notebook can be run on any Jupyter compatible service or locally, opening it in Google Colab is encouraged as it has all dependecies already installed and the notebook has been developed and tested using this platform.

The notebooks was developed using the following packages:
- Pandas (1.1.5)
- NumPy (1.19.5)
- Matplotlib (3.2.2)
- SciPy (1.4.1)
- IPython (5.5.0)
Other packages from Python's standard library were also used.
All the neccesary data to replicate the work is included in the file data.xlsx. The notebook is configured to download data file directly from this Github's repository, so there is no need to download it separately.
