If you want to have your account client ID, follow the below steps. Else, you can also have free client ID
Getting Client ID
Go to any song url of soundcloud like this
Don't play the song yet. [ If started, no need to worry, just play some other song in Related Tracks Panel for step 5. ]
Now open dev-tools [ Option + ⌘ + J (on macOS), or Shift + CTRL + J (on Windows/Linux). ]
Then go to Network Tab
Clear everything if any in Network Logs. Now start the song. You will see one request like this
Now go to bottom in Headers Tab, you will see Query String Parameters.
Now copy this client_id somewhere and then run this file
Note :- Make sure you are logged in your soundcloud account. [ This will give a client id that may never expire. ]
You will notice that a folder named
.data
has been created. Do not delete this, this contains all your soundcloud data.Coding Part
