Is this library still relevant with the new Google API model? Will it be adapted or abandoned?

Reading the last part of this page https://developers.google.com/games/services/android/init , it seems that there is a new version. They manage the APIClient with mHelper.getApiClient()

Yeah read that part but didn't see any activity here.

I spoke with +Rich Hyndman: https://plus.google.com/115995639636688350464/posts/ghmh9cUwAho

He claims that an update is coming so i am on stand by.

With the latest update to the library support for the new API model has been added. I'll close the issue.
