I should rather say "dormant" collaborator! In fact I was only reading the pdf documentation, which prompted me to browse the code and have a look at your major commits of the past year. Now I am a bit more informed about what Biber has become. I am really impressed. Glad to see the biblatexml data model has been "resurrected" ;)

Thanks - I have merged this. I have just revamped the config file sourcemap feature and now it's a lot better I think. I have the feeling PL could do with some help on biblatex if you have any time … he has been very quiet for a long time and we have a pile of serious features already in Biber which have been waiting for a biblatex interface for over a year … I am just not good enough with LaTeX to help him really - serious TeX coding is a black art to me …

I have not done any TeX coding for the past 18 months, and I feel like I have lost all my skills at that, which were already quite limited. The most sophisticated coding I've done was for polyglossia, whose maintainance I have recently passed over to more capable hands. But even there I was keeping away from black magic as much I could. Not sure I could help PL very much, except for trivial stuff he could do with his eyes closed.
