What is Spiffy?

Spiffy is a collection of mods for Minetest 0.4.12 or newer that attempts to make the proper feel of a video game (elements that involve risk and reward tend to be located closer together). Thus, the surface world is kept as nice and peaceful as possible, while everything deeper underground becomes increasingly difficult to obtain. In a technical sense, this means that the mods are tweaked and tailored to fit each other while keeping as much of the original feel as possible.

What is Minetest?

Minetest is an open-world game that generates everything dynamically. You interact with this world via a player character who appears somewhere on the surface, harvesting materials, digging up stone and ores, and crafting everything together into more complex devices.
