Super low priority again, not a significant problem. The small, glowing beacons miners can place come in a variety of colors. One of them either exists in a color outside the human range of vision, or it's just not spawning.
What you expected to happen
Beacons exist and output light
What actually happened
Some would exist, and you could right-click a tile and see it was there, but it had no icon, and it put out no light.
Steps to reproduce
Put down beacons, lots of them. Some of them won't appear.

MagmaRam helped me troubleshoot this issue - Thank you for investigating this with me. Their statement was as follows:
It seems like the icon state isn't being set properly in some cases when it's supposed to pick a random color. The icon state for the invisible ones is markerrandom-on instead of marker[color]-on.
