In Apache Zeppelin I could just generate html and javascript in the output that opened for me a huge flexibility in terms of visualization tools as the choice for chart and graph layout libraries in javascript is huge (d3jds, plotly.js, chart.js, three.js, raphael, and hundgreds of otheres) no VEGA or any other visualization tool can compete with it. It will be great if you would add javascript/html support to polynote!

Did you try kernel.display.html?

(sorry, this is a documentation failure on our part!)

Not yet, I am only starting playing with polynote (because Zeppelin is killing me with its numerous bugs) and I did not find JavaScript/HTML details in the docs
