OS: Mac 10.9.2
Electrum: 1.9.8.4 (downloaded from electrum-ltc.org link)

In the "Receive" tab, when I expand all the addresses group (Change, Used), after a few minutes (sometimes seconds), the groups auto-collapse without any intervention from my part.

Not a big issue, just annoying - since, on that page, there is no balance summary per group - I was wondering where my coins went, despite the wallet balance (bottom left) showing the correct amount.

Pretty sure this is an issue upstream as well, not sure if there's a matching issue or not, I'll have to search later.

(I think it has to do with when blocks are found, so it might be more pronounced in LTC with faster blocks)

I have seen this happen also, with Electrum BTC (1.9.8). However, not as often as Electrum LTC It seems to occur after an automatic re-synch, when the wallet is open - does the LTC version updates more frequently?

In addition, on the same page, Electrum BTC has a "Main Account" line, where the wallet balance is displayed (under which Receiving and Change are nested). This line does not appear on the Electrum-LTC version.

Yes, this issue is inherited from upstream. The groups collapse every time a new block appears, so 4 times more frequently in the case of Litecoin. I was unable to find a ticket in the upstream bug tracker, so you should probably open one.

In addition, on the same page, Electrum BTC has a "Main Account" line, where the wallet balance is displayed (under which Receiving and Change are nested). This line does not appear on the Electrum-LTC version.

This is normal, and also happens with the latest master branch of upstream Electrum. The "Main Account" line only appears if you have imported addresses.
