+1 - we had a user come to us that wanted this on Fedora CoreOS. Unfortunately it's not easy to dynamically compile kernel modules on Fedora CoreOS. While that isn't your problem, maybe ultimately getting this upstream would be better for everyone.

@jackpot51 - what are the barriers here? Time and effort? The license shouldn't be a barrier, right?
