Create
- Inkscape (latest version).
- Sozi (inkscape Plugin) version 13.10
After inkscape is installed, install sozi by copying it to $HOME/.config/inkscape/extensions. If you are not sure, follow the instructions from the inkscape wiki.
First, open the existing presentations from this repository and look how they are made.
Create an empty document in inkscape, and set its size (in File->Document settings) to 1920*1080 px.
It is a good size to create the slides. The slides are embedded in a rectangle usually which will represent it. This border will be hidden during the presentation.
Create two slides of the size of the background and move them around so that they do not overlap. Then select the first rectangle and the second one (using shift to select both). Then select in the menu Extensions -> Sozi. Press the green + twice to add the two a slides.
Save the presentation and run it in Soby! Save it as inkscape svg (the default format for Inkscape).
