Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Using our RM extension to browse or pushing/pulling from a registry configured with token based auth is not supported.

Describe the solution you'd like

Details for this ticket:
providing the stack repo URL of the kind https://oauth2:rCer37ti-brFvfvd4kgqJ@gitlab.company.name/devops/portainer_templates.git resulting the following log record:
11:29:17 http error: Invalid request payload (err=Invalid external templates URL. Must correspond to a valid URL format)

Kinda strange that this request is invalidated by portainer despite it's a completely valid one, but this really should be fixed.
