InvalidStateError when using update_after #251

I thought this was due to the per-db queue, but it doesn't seem to be solved by reverting that change.

Error: Uncaught InvalidStateError: Failed to execute 'transaction' on 'IDBDatabase': The database connection is closing. (http://127.0.0.1:8001/test/test-bundle.js:21669)
    at process.on.global.onerror (http://127.0.0.1:8001/node_modules/mocha/mocha.js:5736:10)

This only happens in Chrome. Got a fix.
