I feel like we're going in circles with new duplicate discussions being made for taiko specifically. |

aside from most of this being rehashed for the nth time to the point of tedium as mentioned above, including that entire aspect ratio fiasco and how it breaks mods:
is this used in any maps with a leaderboard? because this potentially sounds like aspire level breakage which is not guaranteed to be ported across.
this is not exclusive to taiko in any capacity. also see: #13141

Care to elaborate? what's about scoring in taiko? and which scoring mode are you referring to? if it's "Classic" scoring mode, you might be looking for #17125 (#17125 (reply in thread) specifically). As for "replays being skewed", you might be encountering #14573 or #13352.
Has since been resolved in #17225 when using the "Classic" mod.
Thoroughly discussed in #14798.
I don't understand the point, what's the problem of it being allowed or not..?
Would be helpful to provide the screenshots yourself. However, in the latest osu! release, lazer with "Classic" and stable should be 1:1 in terms of displayed notes (minus lazer having the hit target displayed further away from the input drums). |

Just putting it in here because it might not be obvious for non-Taiko players
In stable, resolution affects the playfield size, on 4:3 the playfield gets "cut", essentially reducing the note density. Used by many players who can't read high low density and thus can't play on 16:9, used by other players simply to make the game easier (lower note density is easier to read and acc, even if you can read high note density)has been resolved (but the following points remain)Beta Was this translation helpful?
