This issue happened in the newest official build(2018.702.0). When the user was trying to input Chinese via their input method to the chat box, some weird latin letter will appear in the chat box(copy and paste works OK).

Addon:In 2020.327.0 this bug still even not be fixed. But receiving is normal. The Character in the following photo is "你们好"

Likely GBK/GB2312 is outputted. utf-8 takes up 3 bytes per chinese character.

Add: the user using stable cannot receive normal message.
And the support of the input method is not really good. Showing a gif could be helpful. Sometimes After using Input method, we SEEM cannot input. And later when Using US KEYBOARD to input...

These characters showed up suddenly.

After using Input method the keyboard is seized up for a while, Including f1-f12.
