The new Macbook models, having lost their optical drives, now sport "Power" where the "Eject" button was formerly located.

The Power button has the same behavior as Eject: it requires a hard/long press to activate.

It would be useful to extend NoEjectDelay to handle Power. Apple keyboards with Eject keys will soon be very rare.

KeyRemap4MacBook can change the behavior of the power button since version 8.0.66.

The delay hasn't been fixed for Power, has it?

Sorry, this issue was closed by mistake.

Treatment in the kernel of the eject key and power key is completely different.
And I cannot find an accessible parameter to get rid of power key delay at the moment.

Just adding my support for this. Recently got an Air for work and was super happy to find keyremap4macbook to make my life much more tolerable! Fn -> Ctrl and Ctrl -> Fn, along with Power & Eject -> forward delete.

NoEjectDelay is great for the bluetooth keyboard I use most of the time. Would love to remove the delay on my Air power button as well. Thanks for this great little project!

You write "The Power button has the same behavior as Eject: it requires a hard/long press to activate." Not on mine. If I press the power button and keep holding it down, it is force power off.
