Please don't create a new package under adapters which is not an adapter. It's appropriate to keep these sort of things at the top adapters package level.

The code in
httputil/responseutil.gohas response related utility methods that are used in adapters to check for certain http response codes and take action accordingly. I thinkadapters/utilis a better place for this as they are specifically used only by adapters. Keeping it in the top levelutil/httputilpackage creates unexpected cyclic dependencies because it imports theadapterspackage. So, if any other core code package that is also imported in adapters, tries to access these utility functions inhttputil/responseutil.go, we end up getting a cyclic dependency.The code in
adapters/openrtb_utilis only ever used inexchange/util.goand so it makes sense to just make it a part ofexchange/util.go
