Rationale

Using the imaging edge app for previewing and capturing Sony camera images is slow and error prone. We would like the app to control previewing and capturing images to avoid these problems.

Description

We need to investigate the Sony SDK to make sure it will support our use case. We also need to decide if adding in another piece of hardware is feasible for the protocol and investigate the challenges associated with pushing updates to the raspberry pi.
