on windows os and if vimrc contain 'set shellslash' the root directory looks like 'd:/' not like 'd:\' and if no VCS-dirs in paths present, FindParentVCSRoot() get in infinity loop. |

Looks good, @Eugenij-W. Just fix the line in the change log, and I'll merge it in. Thanks for catching that bug.
