WARNING: THIS DATAPACK WILL NEVER BE MADE AVAILABLE AS A MOD FOR FORGE OR FABRIC

WARNING: THIS DATAPACK ONLY WORKS FOR MINECRAFT : 1.17 OR NEWER VERSIONS

WARNING: IF YOU ARE HOSTING A SERVER, THIS DATAPACK MAY NOT WORK ON SPIGOT OR MANY OTHER NON-VANILLA SERVER HOSTING SOFTWARE, THIS IS THEIR PROBLEM, NOT MINE

NOTE: IF YOU ARE HOSTING A SERVER, PEOPLE THAT JOIN ONLY NEED TO INSTALL Ocean_Additions_Resourcepack.zip

Download the newest version of Ocean_Additions_Datapack.zip and a Resourcepack.zip from here

There are two different resource packs, one that supports emissive textures on custom entities and items and one that does not. The Emissive resource pack tends to break on lower-end hardware and systems that use Intel onboard graphics. If you have a modern AMD or NVIDIA Graphics Card, install the Emissive resource pack, if you are unsure or the emissive resource pack does not work, install the non-Emissive Resourcepack. Both Resourcepacks support Emissive textures on the custom armor

For a server or already created world:

Drag Ocean_Additions_Datapack.zip into the /datapacks/ folder at the root of your world, this can be accessed by selecting (not playing) the world to install on the world selection menu in-game, clicking the edit button at the bottom of the screen and the Open World Folder button, if you are using a server, the root of you world can be most likely found in the folder manager.

Enter the world and use /reload

For a new world, click the Data Packs button on the world creation menu and Open Pack Folder, drag Ocean_Additions_Datapack.zip into the opened folder and return to minecraft to add Ocean_Additions_Datapack.zip to the Selected column.

Resource Pack Installation:

In game, click the Options button then the Resource Packs... button. Click the Open Pack Folder, drag the downloaded Resourcepack into the opened folder and return to minecraft to add Ocean_Additions_Resourcepack to the Selected column.

To check to make sure everything is correctly installed, enter the world and open the Advancements tab from the Game Menu, click the tab that has the green book/ the tab that is labeled Installed Datapacks, if the icon below is seen, the datapack is installed.
