## Following Events

Roughly a week following the transition, BurungHantu returned online for the first time in nearly a year. Rather than apologize for his prolonged absence, he immediately went on the offensive and complained on Reddit about the SEO damage to “his domain” and how the project was “stolen” from him. He subsequently deleted many of his posts when it was pointed out by the community that he had been absent and abandoned the project.
Roughly a week following the transition, BurungHantu returned online for the first time in nearly a year. Rather than apologize for his prolonged absence, he immediately went on the offensive and complained on Reddit about the SEO damage to “his domain” and how the project was “stolen” from him. He subsequently [deleted](https://reddit.com/r/privacytoolsIO/comments/pp9yie/privacytoolsio_twitter_account_just_posted_this/hd6flet/) many of his posts when it was pointed out by the community that he had been absent and abandoned the project.

Following this, he made false accusations about Jonah “stealing crypto”. BurungHantu had over a year since the alleged incident happened and not once did he ever bring it up. It was only after the Privacy Guides migration that he complained about it. This was despite PrivacyTools' [whistleblower policy](https://web.archive.org/web/20210729182903/https://wiki.privacytools.io/view/Whistleblower) under which BurungHantu should have told other senior members of the team. He has been repeatedly questioned on this by the team [and the community](https://twitter.com/TommyTran732/status/1526153536962281474) and he has never provided an acceptable answer and blocks anyone who asks.
Following this, he made false accusations about Jonah “stealing crypto”. BurungHantu had over a year since the alleged incident occured, and yet he never made anyone aware of it. It was only after the Privacy Guides migration that he complained about it and this was despite PrivacyTools' [whistleblower policy](https://web.archive.org/web/20210729182903/https://wiki.privacytools.io/view/Whistleblower) detailing that he should have told other senior members of the team. BurungHantu has been repeatedly asked for comment on the reason for his silence by both team members [and the community](https://twitter.com/TommyTran732/status/1526153536962281474) and he has never provided a reason.

In addition to that he made a [twitter post](https://twitter.com/privacytoolsIO/status/1510560676967710728) alleging that an "attorney" had reached out to him on Twitter and was providing advice. Nothing has come of this, so we assume it was another attempt to bully us into getting his way and part of his smear campaign to muddy the waters and pretend to be a victim.
