## R Markdown Websites
<br>
Documentation: https://rmarkdown.rstudio.com/rmarkdown_websites.html
<br>
### Examples
- Website of Grenoble RUG: https://r-in-grenoble.github.io/
- Website of Magali: http://membres-timc.imag.fr/Magali.Richard/
- Website of Florian: https://privefl.github.io/
---
## Principle
R Markdown websites:
- A YAML file to define
- the theme you use
- the elements of your navigation bar
- One R Markdown file per page
---
## R Markdown
Code chunks R + text in Markdown
You can also write HTML: I use `<br>` all the time to get a blank line.

### Markdown
Markdown is a human-readable text format that can be converted in many languages (such as HTML or Word).

## Time to make your website
1. Go to this tutorial: https://github.com/privefl/rmarkdown-website-template (Short link: https://goo.gl/xksSUH)
2. Follow the instructions with me
3. Fill your website with your own content
<br>
For people who don't have a working configuration (RStudio, Git and GitHub), **I'll do it again in 15-20 minutes**.
---
## Another way: blogdown
Blogdown is more powerful that R Markdown Websites but is harder to configure.
