No CI checks for commits #2

This project should have some CI checking.

There’s two steps to this

  1. Setup a standard CI flow that does any check - this mostly needs github familiarity
  2. Start populating it with more useful checks

Some checks we might want include

  • rustfmt was applied
  • all backends run all #tests ok
  • documentation examples are ok

Note that the beginnings of a regression test are in scripts/regression-test.
