µPeppy is the portable model of the Peppy Player. It can be powered by battery and it can connect to the network using USB WiFi dongle.
The Hardware component of the µPeppy has the following features:
- It is based on the single-board computer Raspberry Pi Zero.
- High quality audio achieved by using HiFiBerry MiniAmp amplifier.
- The screen resolution of µPeppy is 320x240 pixels. The LCD used for µPeppy doesn't have touchscreen.
- µPeppy doesn't use Rotary Encoders.
- There are two main methods to control µPeppy functionality:
- Infrared Remote Control
- Web Browser running on any computer/mobile device connected to your local network
