Bug with Daily Quotes when user starts the app

When the app starts with the "Daily Quote" fragment displayed and the user clicks the "Don't Show Again" button, nothing happens.

Steps to reproduce

Using Genymotion with Google Pixel 2.0 device, Android 8.0 - API 26

Expected behaviour

When the "Don't Show Again" button is clicked, it should return to the Main Activity displaying the featured cities

Actual behaviour

When the "Don't Show Again" button is clicked nothing happens and you need to press the 'Back' button on the Android screen to actually get to the Main Activitity screen. Demonstrated here:
