Does RemoteWrite supports writing PrometheusRules ?

For example, in the kube-prometheus-stack, I added a prometheusRule

additionalPrometheusRulesMap:
  some-rule:
        groups:
        - name: cpu_mem_usage_active
          interval: 30s
          rules:
           - record: cpu_usage_active

In the remoteWriteSpec I write the following:

- url: "http://someurl/write"
  writeRelabelConfigs:
  - sourceLabels: ["__name__"]
    regex: "(.*usage_active)"
    action: "keep"

Does the cpu_usage_active gets written to a remote url ?

Hmmm it doesn't do it for me, I should be using the latest kube-prometheus-stack helm chart. What should I look for to debug this ?

Found the metrics. Probably just stale configmap or delayed remote write.

I'd check the final Prometheus configuration and that the metric exists.
