Transfers Dryopolystichum from Dryopteridaceae to Lomariopsidaceae
Reason for change
In PPG I, Dryopolystichum was included in Dryopteridaceae, but with uncertain subfamily placement because morphology could not be used to decisively resolve its position and no molecular analysis had yet been performed. Since then, Chen et al. (2017) conducted molecular analysis using three plastid DNA markers to robustly resolve Dryopolystichum within Lomariopsidaceae. From their abstract, "Dryopolystichum was resolved as sister to a clade comprising Dracoglossum and Lomariopsis, with Cyclopeltis as sister to these, but clade support is not robust." While the exact relationship of genera within Lomariopsidaceae is not completely clear, their analysis is sufficient to place Dryopolystichum in Lomariopsidaceae.
