STEP TO REPLICATE:

  1. Go to Appearance => Widget
  2. Add "Series Table of Content"
  3. Show series as dropdown
  4. Order by: Name, Order: Ascending
  5. Save and view
  6. Observe issue, the dropdown will not show ascending by name: https://i.imgur.com/tWAA04N.png
