…his allows you to more greatly parallelize loading indicies into your ES cluster b/c a snapshot restore can only happen on 1 snapshot at a time (but can do multiple indicies concurrently inside that snapshot)
… a large number of indexes. Switching to a memory based store (there's zero data at that phase, just used for producing some dummy snapshot metadata)
